YOUR CHIPWIT (GAME SETTINGS)

The icon to access this area looks like a Gear (see example below), and it provides several options for customizing and controlling your game experience. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find five buttons at the bottom of the screen.

The Five Buttons #

Factory Reset #

  • Resets all game settings and deletes your saved data.
  • Use this button to restore your ChipWit to its original, factory default settings. Be cautious—this action deletes all saved progress.

Audio
#

  • Adjust the game’s sound settings.
  • Options:
    • UI Volume: Controls the volume of the user interface sounds.
    • Sound FX Volume: Adjusts the sound effects in the game.
    • Music Volume: Sets the background music volume.
  • Fine-tuning the audio ensures you get the best sound experience while playing, whether you want full immersion or prefer to lower certain sounds.

Video
#

  • Adjust display settings.
  • Options:
    • Full Screen Checkbox: Toggle full screen mode on or off.
    • Resolution Slider: Adjusts the screen resolution from 1280×720 to 1920×1080.
  • Changing the resolution and full screen settings helps optimize the game for your screen, ensuring smooth gameplay and visual clarity.

Profile #

  • Customize your ChipWit’s appearance and name.
  • Options:
    • Change the ChipWit’s color, as well as the colors of its accessories.
    • Rename your ChipWit.
    • You can also access the Profile section by clicking on the large, slowly rotating image of your ChipWit within Your ChipWit/Game Settings area.
  • Personalizing your ChipWit adds a fun touch to the game, making your robotic companion unique to you.

Play #

  • Takes you to the Select a Mission screen.
  • Once you’ve adjusted your settings and customized your ChipWit, this is where you go to start playing missions.

Applying Settings #

After making changes in any of these areas, make sure to hit Apply for the changes to take effect. Without applying, your settings won’t be saved.
