CAMERA CONTROLS

Once you’re inside a mission (as long as Professor Chip isn’t speaking), you have full control over the camera view. This allows you to better navigate and observe your ChipWit in action.

Here’s how you can use the camera controls:

Panning the Camera #

  • How to Pan: Click and hold the right mouse button while dragging the mouse in any direction to pan the camera view.
  • Panning lets you adjust the angle of your view to get a better look at the mission environment or follow your ChipWit’s movements across the grid.

Zooming the Camera #

  • How to Zoom: Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom the camera in and out.
  • You can control the distance between the camera and your ChipWit. Zoom out for a broader view of the mission area or zoom in for a close-up view of your ChipWit and its surroundings.
  • First-Person View: The closest camera zoom brings you to an almost first-person view, where the camera is positioned just above your ChipWit’s head. This offers a more immersive look at your ChipWit’s actions.

These camera controls help you better observe your ChipWit’s performance, navigate the mission layout, and make adjustments as needed.
