WORKSHOP PROGRAMMING TOOLS BUTTONS AND WORKSHOP MENU

Specifications #

Location and Function

  • Found at the top of the Workshop window these buttons are meant to aid in the ease of coding in Workshop.

ChipWit Programming Tools Buttons

  • Found above the SubPanel tabs in the Workshop, these functional shortcuts have been placed for ease of use and are as follows: Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo , Redo, and Trash

  • The Workshop menu is found on the top right in the Workshop, and has an icon which looks like 3 stacked lines. It contains the functions to Reset to Default program (completely erase all placed Chips in the Workshop), to Copy the ChipWit to the Clipboard (this generates an IBOL code that will exactly re-create your ChipWit’s Chip placement and export it), and Paste from Clipboard, which allows you to paste a pre-made ChipWit’s IBOL code directly into the Workshop).

Cut Button #

Select placed Chips in the Workshop and press the Cut shortcut button to remove them from the Workshop (but copy them to the Clipboard). This functions the say way as cutting does in typing.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: ^X

Copy Button #

Select certain placed Chips (or all of them) and press the Copy button to duplicate them.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: ^C

Paste Button #

Paste duplicated Chips into the Workshop with this button.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: ^V

Undo Button #

Undo the last action performed in the Workshop.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: ^Z

Redo Button #

Redoes the last Undo action.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: ^Y

Delete Button #

Select placed Chips in the Workshop and select this button to delete the selected Chips.
Keyboard shortcut to use this function: Del (the Delete key)

Reset to Default Program (Workshop Menu) #

Deletes all placed Chips, regardless of Main Panel or SubPanel, in the Workshop

Copy ChipWit to Clipboard (Workshop Menu) #

Copies all placed Chips in the Workshop to the clipboard; doing so generates an export IBOL code that represents the ChipWit copied. This allows you to share your ChipWit with others if you give them this generated code.

Paste ChipWit from Clipboard (Workshop Menu) #

Paste an export IBOL code into the game via the Paste ChipWit from Clipboard; this creates an exact clone of the copy (see: Copy ChipWit to Clipboard entry above) and pasted IBOL code. This function will overwrite any pre-existing placed Chips in the Workshop.
