FUEL (ENERGY)

Fuel is a crucial resource that powers your ChipWit and affects its ability to perform actions and complete missions.

What is Fuel? #

  • Fuel represents the energy available to your ChipWit for performing various tasks and actions. It is used whenever your ChipWit moves, turns, or executes commands.
  • Fuel is finite and depletes as your ChipWit performs actions. If the Fuel level drops to zero (the green bar above the ChipWit’s head appears empty) your ChipWit will stop functioning.

How Fuel Works #

  • Fuel Consumption: Every action your ChipWit takes, such as skating forward, turning, or picking up objects, consumes a certain amount of Fuel. Different actions may consume different amounts.
  • Fuel Indicators: The Fuel level is typically displayed as a green bar above the ChipWit’s head, allowing you to monitor how much Fuel remains. Keeping track of this is essential to ensure that your ChipWit does not run out of Fuel unexpectedly.
  • Replenishing Fuel: Consuming Good things will restore the ChipWit’s Fuel, giving it more energy to complete more tasks.

Tracking Fuel Use #

When you set your ChipWit in motion by pressing Play there are two meters that appear above your ChipWit’s head, one red and one green.

The GREEN bar tracks your ChipWit’s Fuel level.

The RED bar tracks your ChipWit’s Health, which depletes when your ChipWit runs into something, or is attacked.

Why Fuel Matters #

  • Survival and Performance: Managing Fuel is critical for your ChipWit’s survival and performance. Efficient use of Fuel ensures that your ChipWit can complete its mission without running out of energy.
  • Strategic Planning: Knowing how to conserve and efficiently use Fuel can make the difference between successfully completing a mission or failing due to Fuel depletion. Strategic planning and careful management of actions can help maximize your ChipWit’s operational time.

By understanding and managing Fuel effectively, you can enhance your ChipWit’s performance and ensure it completes its tasks and missions successfully.
