DELETE (WORKSHOP RADIAL MENU)

Delete is a tool used to remove chips from your ChipWit’s program. It allows you to quickly and efficiently get rid of instructions that are no longer needed or that you want to replace.

You can either use the Delete button in the Workshop, or the Delete Key on your keyboard.

#

Why the Delete Chip Matters #

  • Streamline your Program: The Delete chip helps you keep your program organized by eliminating unnecessary or outdated instructions.
  • Quick Fixes: If you notice that a certain action is causing issues in your ChipWit’s performance, you can quickly remove it using the Delete chip and make adjustments without redoing the entire sequence.
  • Free Up Space: Sometimes, you’ll need to make room for better chips or instructions. The Delete chip makes it easy to remove anything you don’t need anymore.

How to Use #

Click on the Operator portion of the Chip to be deleted and select the Delete (trash can) Icon. If the Argument portion of the Chip is selected it pops up the Argument wheel. If you click on the Operator it pops up the chip selector.

#

Example of Use #

  • Place focus box on the chip you want to remove. On the Workshop’s Radial Action Menu select the trash can icon. Once applied, that chip will disappear from your program.
  • It’s especially helpful when you’re testing different strategies and need to make quick changes.

In short, the Delete chip gives you control over your program, allowing you to optimize, troubleshoot, and adapt your ChipWit’s actions as needed.
